This beautiful Sardinian wine hales from northern Sardinia, the hillsides of Sardinia. They don’t get the seaward kiss and heat that a typical Sardinian wine gets. This Cannonau varietal, also known as Grenache stateside, is a beautifully balanced big red wine that has hints of lemon, vanilla, cherry and almost some cream with an amazing finish. It’s a euro sister to many of the varietals that come from our surrounding wine region, so if you love red mountain wine - yeah as if that’s in question - you will love this Euro sibling. It has tannins in the finish but is much more subtle so even non-red wine drinkers will love this one!
