The vines grown at this Argentinian main stay are 60-80 years old and that age comes through in this wine. Deep purply profiles come out and give it a chocolate torte quality. Mix this with a little smokiness and the smell screams a bit of red wine. However, when it pours over the tongue it is somehow more subtle - in a good way - bright and fruity with a silky feel and great tang! Drink this with your favorite barbeque or let it sit on the shelf and age into its full potential. Either way, it’s a big fat yes!
